■To prevent clogged toilet
Do not flush foreign objects other than toilet paper. If you drop something into the toilet by accident, do not flush but remove it.
Tenants are responsible for the repair fee of clogged and / or leaky toilet caused by the intentional negligence, such as flushing foreign object forcedly.
In pet-allowed properties, sand for cat litter, animal hair, pet sheets, and so on may also cause clogging. Please dispose of these items as garbage according to your local rules.
■By using a plunger, clogged toilet may be cleared.
【How to clear clogged toilet】
①Adhere a plunger to the drain.
②Push the plunger in slowly, push the water inside the plunger out to the drain, and quickly pull the plunger out while the water remains in the toilet.
If you do ② repeatedly, you can clear a clogged toilet.
The point is not to put some air in the plunger, but to use water pressure inside the plunger to remove the clogs. In doing so, sewage inside the toilet bowl may splash.
To avoid the splash, cover your toilet bowl with a transparent plastic sheet, etc. with a hole in the center (for the plunger’s handle), spread newspapers around the toilet, and start the procedure.
Each apartment may have a different toilet structure.
※Please don’t place objects around the washing area of the toilet tank, as it may cause clogs.
If the management finds the clogging, water leakage, etc. caused by the objects you put in, you are responsible for the repair fee.
