Pigeons come to the balcony
Pigeons inhabit the place where they feel safe and comfortable.
Here are some measures you could take if pigeons are keep coming to your balcony.
①Remove the pigeon’s droppings; if the droppings remain, pigeons think it is a safe place.
②Place nylon strings, repellent or pigeon scat mats on the handrail or the openings beneath.
Pigeons will not come into the balcony from the beginning. They will perch on the handrail or the openings beneath first, and see if it is a safe place.
It would be more effective if you take the above preventive measures early on before they start inhabiting.
■Nylon strings (clear thin threads/fishing lines）
Place the string 8 to 10 cm above the handrail to prevent pigeons from perching. Specially designed string for pigeons are also easy to remove.
■Repellent
Chemical with taste and smell that pigeons do not like.
■Pigeon scat mat
