Problem with Front Door

If you feel the door does not close smoothly, please check each part described in the diagram, and make adjustments.

（1）Loose or Squeaking Hinges
If the hinges are loose, please tighten the mounting screws.
If they squeak while opening/closing the door, some lubricant will help. 

If the door and door frame are rubbing, or they are not properly aligned, please contact Daito Kentaku Customer Support Center.

（2）Shutting Speed Adjustment
Type A
・Adjust as shown in the diagram below.
Type B
・Adjust the first and second speed by turning the screws marked "1" and "2" using a flat screwdriver. Turn them clockwise for slower, counterclockwise for faster speed.
・Excessive difference between first and second speed may cause malfunctions.



Adequate diagram may vary depending on the building.

■If your front door does not close or is difficult to close, please contact Daito Kentaku Customer Support Center.

■Door knob wobbles
Please tighten the screws clockwise. In many cases, the screws are on the stem part of the interior-side knob.

If the problem is still not solved, please contact Daito Kentaku Customer Support Center.

■I have lost my apartment key
■Key is difficult to remove or turn
