How to setup or remove lighting/ceiling light

■Is lighting pre-installed in the apartment?
In most cases, there are no lighting pre-installed in the apartment. For single rooms (1K, 1DK), there are usually ceiling lights; however, this varies by room. Therefore, it is best to consult with the leasing office or inquire via the “ruum” app regarding the lighting unit for your residence.

■Is it possible to use my own lighting?
It is possible to use your own lighting; however, it is required for you to keep the existing ceiling lighting and place it back to its original place upon surrendering your apartment contract. Please do not throw away the existing ceiling light.

■The light bulb needs to be replaced

<Fluorescent tubes>
The tenant is responsible for replacing the fluorescent tubes in the apartment, regardless of whether it had been pre-installed or something you had already owned. Please be extra careful with any injuries and/or damages upon installing the new lighting.

<LED lighting>
・If the pre-installed LED lighting does not turn on properly, please send us photos and report it using our multilingual inquiry form using the "ruum" app.
・Please note that if the LED lighting belongs to the tenant, it is the tenant's responsibility to purchase/replace the entire unit.

■When moving, is it OK to leave behind the lighting in the room?
For pre-installed lighting, please leave them behind. Otherwise, please remove all the lighting you own/purchased.
※As a reminder, please also remove the adapter (for lighting) as it is part of the lighting unit.
