Lightning Safety

■Countermeasures for Lightning Strikes
Please take precautions in advance If lightning strikes are forecasted. Unplug the electric appliances to prevent damages from lightning strikes.


■In the Event of a Lightning Strike
  • In case of power outage due to lightning strikes, contact your power company for the restoration schedule. 
  • If you have no power after your area’s electricity has been restored, check your electric breaker. 

  • There is a possibility of the building’s main power failure if you still have no power after resetting your unit’s breaker. Check your buildings common areas and neighbors' lights. If you see no power for the whole building, please contact Daito Kentaku Customer Support Center.

***Lightning strikes are natural disaster. Please contact your fire insurance company regarding insurance coverage for damaged appliances, etc.***
