Move-out Fee

Move-out costs, final settlement fees and cleaning charges

■ Move-out costs / Estimate in advance
Since confirmation must be made when the room is vacant (without furniture, etc.), we are unable to provide an estimate while you are still residing in the unit.
If you choose to be present at inspection, the estimate will be provided at the time of the inspection. 
If you do not choose to not be present, we will inform the details you later.

■Final settlement fee
・If there is a refund from our company, it will be transferred to your designated account approximately one month after the move-out date.
*It may take more than one month for corporate contracts.
*Depending on the condition of the room, additional charges may apply.

・If payment is required, you may use a convenience store payment slip, credit card payment, or bank transfer.
*If payment is required, our staff will contact you.
*Cash payment at the move-out inspection is not necessary since the final settlement is processed at a later date.

Issuance of move-out settlement statement or certificate:
・Those who have applied for contract termination online
After the settlement process is completed*, you can confirm the move-out settlement statement on the same website where you submitted your termination application (Termination Application Website). As the contract end date is listed, you may use this as proof of move-out.
*The final settlement statement is usually available about one month after the move-out date. For corporate contracts, it may take longer than one month. You will receive an email once it becomes available.

・Those who did not complete the move-out procedure online
A move-out settlement statement will not be issued. If you require one, please contact the Daito Kentaku Customer Support Center

Flat-rate Cleaning Fee / Security Deposit
・For those who have the Flat-rate Cleaning Plan, the restoration cost is included in the cleaning fee. (Additional charges may apply for damage or stains caused by intentional or negligent actions)
・For those who paid a security deposit at the time of contract, repair costs will be deducted from the deposit.

* Please check your lease agreement, as either the cleaning fee or security deposit amount will be specified.
