Key is difficult to remove or turn
■ I cannot pull out the key.
To pull out the key, the angle of the key must be the same as the inserted position.
Please try turning the key 90 degrees after locking the door.
■ I cannot turn my key.
After years of use, keys may become difficult to insert or turn due to wear or buildup dirt. If you feel that your key is not working properly, please try the following methods.
1) Use a vacuum cleaner to remove dust from the keyhole.
2) Clean the grooves and bumps of the key with an old toothbrush or similar tool.
3) Try to rub the cutouts on the key with a pencil lead, the graphite works as a lubricant and make smoother operation.
*Never use commercially available lubricant (silicon spray). The oil encourages dirt buildup inside of keyholes.
