For Residents Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Fire Insurance

Is Fire insurance required?

Fire-insurance is a tenants’ obligation as stated in the leasing agreement. To avoid uninsured periods, please make sure your fire insurance covers your apartment from the starting date of the leasing contract to the expiration date.

Fire-insurance covers not only compensation of loss caused by fire, but also many possible damages and theft (including damage to household goods caused by theft) during your lease contract.
If you have not yet purchased insurance, or if your fire insurance has expired, please purchase fire insurance.

Houseguard, our affiliated company, provides two-year insurance plan to our tenants (payment can be settled either by credit card or by cash at any convenience store). For details, please contact Daito Kentaku Customer Support Center.
※For more details of the insurance plans in English, please visit Houseguard application website.
