Preparation & Tips for snowfall and accumulation
＜When snowfall or snow accumulation is expected＞
Check-up Before and After Snowfall
・Before and after the snowfall season, please drain your balcony to prevent flooding to rooms caused by snowmelt or clogged drains.
・The building has been designed to predict the amount of snowfall in each area, but when the snow accumulation is beyond expectations, the management must remove snow. It should be done on a regular basis, but in case of emergency, please contact Daito Kentaku Customer Support Center.
Tips to help prevent frozen pipes
During winter, especially when it’s cold, please perform prevention of frozen pipes. In case of frozen pipes, the management office will be asking tenants to wait until they get defrosted naturally. Please keep this in mind in advance.
＜When it is snowing＞
Please Remove Snow by Yourself
Please remove snow from your parking lot and sideways to the main road.
The management may remove snow in some areas during regular patrol, but still tenants’ cooperation will be appreciated.
Be Careful Not to Fall
When snow melts and refreezes on the next day of snowfall and so on, the ground becomes slippery. Walking slowly and take shorter steps, with your entire soles touching the ground, may prevent yourself from falling.
