Q. My credit Card has expired/renewed
Please proceed with the change of your credit card information. To proceed with the registration, please open “ruum”, go to “My Room”→[各種手続き (Various procedures)]→tap[支払い情報の変更 (Change Payment Information)]and select [クレジットカードの変更 (Credit card change)]
Q. How can I check if I have Joint-guarantor free system?
There are two ways:
(1)Checking if you have a contract with House Leave Co., Ltd. (joint liability guarantee company)
(2)Trying to proceed with the payment method change (if you didn't make a contract, you won't be able to proceed with the change).
Q. Is there any fee?
There is a 170 service fee/month for direct debit and credit card payment. If the payment for the rent and parking lot, etc. is registered through different bank accounts/ credit card, the fee will be withdrawn for each one.
Q. If I change my payment information, when will the change be applied to my payment?
-Direct debit: The change will apply starting with the following month's deduction (rent is prepaid, so this will be rent for 2 months after)
-Credit card: if the changes are made before the rent billing cycle end, then it will be reflected within the same month's deduction. If changes are made after the rent billing cycle end, it will begin with the next month's deduction.
* Rent billing cycle end: 2 business days prior to the 10th (2 business days prior to the preceding business day if the 10th falls on a Saturday, Sunday, or public holiday)
*Business day: Weekdays except, Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays.
* Settlement period: 11th to 15th
Q. I changed my payment method, but my payment method on the [お支払い情報変更 (Change Payment Information)] page in the “ruum” app is not updated.
The change will be reflected on the second business day of the following month.
You can check the status of your application by clicking the [お申込み履歴を見る(View application history)] on the [お支払い情報変更(Change Payment Information)] section.
■Other inquiries regarding rent I would like a receipt/bill statement of the rent
