For Residents Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Electric Breaker

The circuit breaker hasn’t tripped, but the lighting in the room went out

■In case, the power has returned automatically after a few seconds of power outage:

The electricity consumption may have exceeded the contracted amperage, and the electric meter (digital meter) may have shout off the supply. It is not a malfunction.
※With a conventional analog electric meter, once the power goes out, you must manually turn the breaker back on to restore power. With a digital electric meter, however, electricity is automatically restored in a few seconds to a minute.

If frequent power outages occur, the contracted power (amperage) may be insufficient for electricity you are using. Please contact the electricity company to change the amperage. ※If you are a resident of a building with digital electric meter, you do not have to notify our company when you change the amperage.

<How to distinguish digital and analog meters.>

An electricity meter with a liquid crystal display (LCD) that displays electrical energy is a digital meter. On the other hand, a meter with a rotating dial is an analog meter.

■If the electricity does not turn back on automatically after a few seconds:
It might be a regional power outage. Please contact the electricity company for power outage information.

■Certain lighting or appliances do not work:
The cause might be a blown bulb or malfunction of the unit. If the cause is lighting, please replace the bulb. For other appliances, please refer to the user’s manual.
