In some cases, the A/C’s malfunction could be solved by unplugging and plugging in the power cord of the A/C's indoor unit. With the A/C’s power off, try to unplug the power cord and wait about 5 minutes, then plug it back in.
If the problem is still unsolved, please check the common causes, below.
1. Dirty filters
The cooling/heating performance gets poor when dirt, dust, or other debris gets stuck in the filter.
2. Obstacles near the indoor unit’s intake and outlet.
Curtains and furniture may interfere with intake and exhaust airflow and can cause poor performance.
3. Obstacles around the outdoor unit of A/C.
Weed, fallen leaves, and accumulated snow can interfere with the cooling fan of the outdoor unit and can cause poor performance or mechanical failure.
4. Check the operation “Mode” of the A/C.
Make sure it’s not running on “Dry Mode” or wrong temperature setting.
5. In winter, when the outside temperature is low, the heating defrost function may temporarily stop warm air.
Please wait with the power on for a few minutes until operation resumes.
If these don't work, please contact Daito Kentaku Customer Support Center.
Please note that it might take some time before the unit can be fixed or replaced.
Your A/C information is required when you reach out to us: manufacturer, series model, and year of manufacture.
