No water out of the tap

Right after moving in: 

・If you have not applied for the water service after you moved in, please contact the local water bureau.
・Please make sure the main water valve is open.
・If only certain taps have no water, please make sure the valves located under the kitchen sink or washstand bowl are open.

Water stopped suddenly: 

Please check which faucets have no water.

<No water from all faucets>
If your building is equipped with a water tank, it may be under maintenance. Please check if you have notice paper for water shut down. If there is no notice, please contact us via our "ruum" app since there is a possibility of water pump malfunction.

Please inform us the details of water outage via our "ruum" app.

<Cold water is fine, but there’s no hot water>

There is a possibility of a malfunction on the water heater. Please inform us the condition with the manufacture and model number of the heater via our "ruum" app.

■On extremely cold days or winter season, if freeze prevention measures were not taken, it’s possible that water doesn’t flow because of frozen pipes. Once the pipes freeze up, only suggestion we could make is to wait until it defrosts naturally. Please refer to Preventing water pipes and water heaters from freezing
